Kilner Glass Sprouting Jar Set, 500ml

The Kilner sprouting jar is your new favourite kitchen project. It simplifies the process of sprouting seeds and grains. The set includes step-by-step instructions to help you get started.

Sprouting is a great way to add texture, flavour and nutrients to your meals. You can sprout all kinds of seeds, legumes and nuts. Mung bean, alfalfa and broccoli sprouts are great options for beginners.

The sprouting jar set contains:

• 1 x 0.5 litre Kilner jar
• 1 x stoneware ceramic base
• 1 x silicone ring
• 1 x stainless steel sieve attachment
• 1 x one-piece lid
• 1 x recipe and instruction booklet

The jar provides ideal conditions for sprouts to develop. Start by soaking the seed or grain in the jar for the required time. Strain away the water and place the jar onto the ceramic base. This allows the sprouts to develop while excess water drains into the base.

Developed sprouts can be added to salads, wraps and open sandwiches. You can store them in the jar until youre ready to eat them.

The Kilner sprouting set is a fun gift for food lovers. Once youve mastered the process, you can enjoy all kinds of sprouts. Rich in vitamins and minerals, theyre a great addition to your diet.

The glass jar and ceramic base are dishwasher safe. Metal and silicone components must be hand washed in warm, soapy water.
