Matiz | Paella Sofrito

Craving that authentic paella flavor without the hours of simmering? This Matiz Paella Sofrito is your secret weapon! Slow-roasted with onions and real olive oil, it’s the perfect flavor base for paella, rice dishes, soups, and stews. We love how it transforms any dish with its rich, savory depth.

This handmade sofrito is the shortcut you’ve been waiting for. The tomatoes are slow-roasted in olive oil for over three hours, producing an intensely flavorful base that saves you precious time in the kitchen. Simply add it to your paella pan before the rice and other ingredients, or use it as a sauce for meats, fish, eggs, and pasta. It even makes a stellar base for cioppino!
